Adrenal Fatigue
With the amount of stress we’re all under in our fast-paced culture, adrenal fatigue has become increasingly common among adults. To establish a normal pattern, physicians usually examine patient hormone levels at four points throughout the day including morning, noon, evening, and night.
Adrenal fatigue can be treated through a variety of lifestyle changes that include proper diet and rest. By avoiding foods that cause large fluctuations in energy levels such as, complex carbohydrates, sugars, white flour and caffeine, healthy cortisol levels can begin to be restored. Getting the proper amount of rest each night is critical as well.
